American’s For Prosperity to Host Defending the American Dream Summit

July 17, 2012
by Moriah Costa

Americans For Prosperity (AFP) will be hosting the sixth annual Defending the American Dream Summit from August 2-4, 2012 at the Washington Hilton Hotel. This event will bring together speakers and concerned citizens in promoting limited government and economic freedom. Congressmen Paul Ryan is scheduled to speak at the Hands Off my Healthcare Rally. Panelists from leading think-tanks will also be present, including analysts from the Cato Institute, the Heritage Foundation, Freedom Works, ALEC, Competitive Enterprise Institute, and others.

AFP is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating the public about the values of a free market and a limited government. In June, AFP hosted RighOnline, a conservative media and citizen journalist seminar, which the Franklin Center co-sponsered. The seminar drew hundreds to Las Vegas despite the summer heat. Filmmaker James O’Keefe and Sarah Palin were just two of the many speakers who emphasized the value of citizen journalism in today’s world. Defending the American Dream Summit is bound to be just as an exciting event. To learn more about this event and AFP, click here.
